The Clubhouse at Monument Shadows Golf Course is in need of significant repairs and renovation.

Differential settling of the foundation has become severe enough that windows are starting to break and some doors no longer close properly.

The City is evaluating options for addressing the condition of the Clubhouse and determining how golf course revenues can be reinvested to best serve the golfers and the community.

The Golf Course operates as an enterprise fund. Property tax dollars are not used to subsidize the Golf Course or the Clubhouse.

The Golf Course fund obtains revenues primarily through golf memberships, green fees, and cart rentals, with a small percentage of the revenue coming from a transfer from the City’s Electric Department.

The restaurant at Monument Shadows Golf Course is operated by an independent business that leases space from the City.
